Palestine, Texas- Palestine Main Street and the Farmers Market Association are hosting the 2nd Annual Farm & Flower Market at the Farmers Market Pavilion on March 28 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. during the second weekend of the Dogwood Trails Celebration.
Nacogdoches, Texas- In conjunction with the 17th Annual Nacogdoches Azalea Trail, Nacogdoches Main Street will be hosting their annual Shop & Stroll, this Saturday March 28th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. “This is a great opportunity to explore the offerings of our downtown merchants,” said Main Street Manager Sarah O’Brien. There are sixteen participating merchants in this Saturday’s event. Merchants will have items displayed on the sidewalk as well as offer specials inside their stores.
Nacogdoches, Texas- On Saturday, March 28, 2015, the Friends of Historic Nacogdoches, Inc. and the City of Nacogdoches Historic Sites Department will host the 3rd annual Living History of Oak Grove Cemetery Tour. Oak Grove Cemetery was first established circa 1837, and it was later designated as a Historic Texas Cemetery by the Texas Historical Commission. Among those buried there are soldiers, four signers of the Texas Declaration of Independence and a number of local citizens, all of whom helped shape East Texas.
