Brandy Branch Reservoir is located in Harrison County, 10 miles east of Longview. The reservoir is a 1,242 surface acres, with an average depth of 50 feet. Fifty to 60 percent of the lake’s surface is covered by native and non-native aquatic vegetation, however Hydrilla dominates.
Anglers will find that the largemouth bass population is low density, with few fish available for harvest. Bluegill and redear sunfish are present with high numbers of small fish available as prey, but low densities of quality-size fish available for angler harvest.
