Jacksonville, Texas- It’s about to be “tomato time” in Jacksonville! This year the City of Jacksonville will celebrate the 32nd Annual Tomato Festival this June. Jacksonville has been producing tomatoes for the commercial market in the State of Texas for over a century, since 1897. Tomatoes became the primary crop until the 1950s. During this time, Jacksonville earned the title “Tomato Capital of the World.”
Annual Festival Bringing Bands From Across the US
Nacogdoches, Texas– Nacogdoches Music Festival (formerly Big Nac) will have close to 50 shows over four days beginning March 3. Shows are held in historic downtown Nacogdoches, across several venues within walking distance of each other. Bands and performers from all over the USA will be featured along with East Texas favorites.
Palestine, Texas – The Dogwood Trails Festival takes place Saturday, March 21, 2015 in Historic Downtown Palestine. This year’s theme is “Dogwoods Through the Decades.” Festival highlights include live music and entertainment, a parade, beer garden, arts & crafts, Kids Zone and much more.
Nacogdoches, Texas– Texas Music Magazine is pleased to announce the performers for the Big Nac Music Festival March 5-8, 2015 in historic downtown Nacogdoches.
