Daylight Saving Time- November 4
Halloween is just around the corner, and October is almost over. Naturally, it seems like the fall time change 2012 should be here, but don’t fall back yet! It won’t be time to turn your clocks back an hour until the first Sunday in November.
Daylight Saving Time ends Sunday, Nov. 4, at 2 a.m. That’s the moment to turn your clocks back one hour. Although, we know many of you will turn them back before you hit the sack, well before 2 a.m.!
If Nov. 4, five weeks after the end of summer seems a bit late in the season, it’s really not. Until 2007, Daylight Saving Time ran from April to mid-October, but Congress extended the period, making it three weeks earlier and one week later.
Some, including Hawaii, most of Arizona, and territories including Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and American Samoa remain on Standard Time throughout the year while the rest of us will “fall back” this year on Nov. 4.
