Downtown bustling with Azalea Trail activities this Saturday
Nacogdoches- The Nacogdoches Main Street program is excited to announce a fun filled weekend in historic downtown Nacogdoches in conjunction with the Nacogdoches Azalea Trail. “Make plans to come enjoy the red brick streets and the Azalea Trail this Saturday, there will truly be something for everyone in your family,” said Main Street Manager Sarah O’Brien.
The downtown merchants have partnered together to present the Annual Main Street Shop & Stroll and will have a variety of specials, sales and door prizes dotted along the red brick streets. The Shop & Stroll lasts from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Be sure your plans include heading on down to Festival Park, for the Bloomin’ Good Volkswagen Show, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. spectators can see up to 100 vintage Volkswagens- from mild to wild. Admission to this East Texas VEE-DUB Chapter event is free of charge, but donations are accepted.
The Art of Floral Designs, Color & Textures from the Gardens will take place at the Charles Bright Visitor’s Center, 200 E. Main Street from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and showcases floral arrangements highlighting the horticultural talents of local gardeners, designers and plant enthusiasts.
