You can Mardi Gras Up River in Jefferson, Feb. 6- 8. The Doo Dah Parade will kick off at 7p.m. on Friday, and everyone is invited to wear Mardi Gras costumes! The Grand Parade will begin at 2p.m. on Saturday, followed by parties, food and drinks, arts and crafts shopping, and carnival attractions. Taste what lies behind the Pine Curtain in Palestine, Texas Saturday, February 7, during the Taste of New Orleans in Historic Downtown from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. East Texas chefs and wineries have teamed up for the third year in a row to showcase their talents and offer guests a taste of Louisiana-style cuisine.
