Marshall, Texas- Downtown merchants will be competing for bragging rights for the best holiday brew during the inaugural Wassail Fest, hosted by Marshall Main Street is a new addition to the 2015 Wonderland of Lights line up. “We wanted to put a focus on Small Business Saturday and encourage residents and visitors to get out and shop local,” said Main Street Director Sarah O’Brien, “The Saturday after Thanksgiving is a great time for families to get out of the house and visit some of downtown Marshall’s unique stores and restaurants.”

But during the fall, when the mighty cypress tree forest turns yellow and orange, being on Caddo Lake is a mystical experience unmatched by any place on earth.
