Terror On The Bayou
Jefferson– Terror On The Bayou Halloween Festival is a gateway to haunted East Texas. Terror On The Bayou starts this weekend, October 7, and will run every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through October 29. If you are looking for a Halloween experience that will get your blood pumping and your heart pounding, head to Jefferson where the spooks and spirits of deep East Texas come alive!
The legendary Runaway Fright Train will feature Creatures of the Night. As you ride through the dark Pineywoods you will be on the edge of your seat! The first run of each night is family oriented for ages two to 92, while later runs are geared towards patrons that want the ultimate Halloween experience full of spine-tingling thrills.
If you are brave enough, take a stroll through the Creepy Screamin’ Corn Maze from 7p.m. until closing. The maze is more than an acre and includes a walk through the Pinewyoods, the Haunted Cemetery and culminates with the infamous 100-foot underground Tunnel of Doom. Once within the maze, you cannot escape the monsters, ghouls and dangers that lurk in the thick foggy mist.
Enter the Carn Evil of the Damned Haunted House, if you dare. The two minute walk through the dark Pineywoods will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up and give you chills. Something sinister is hiding here.
