34th Annual AlleyFest
LONGVIEW- AlleyFest is one of the most exciting and fun festivals in the Texas Lake Country. For 34 years the AlleyFest has been kicking off summer in East Texas with style. A Real East Texas Celebration of the Arts will take place on the streets of Downtown Longview’s historic Main Street district May 11 through May 13.
AlleyFest opens its gates on Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. Admission on Friday is $10.00, children under 12 have FREE admission. Saturday morning general admission begins at 10:00 a.m. Admission is FREE to all UNTIL 5:00 p.m. After 5:00 p.m. admission is $10.00. Children under 12 are admitted without charge. Sunday morning the gates open at 11:00 a.m. The event closes at 3:00 p.m Sunday. Free admission.
Alley Art features the best artisans and crafters that can be found. Each year produces new surprises with artists that produce quality work.
Music Fest on Friday and Saturday night entertains crows with several bands each night.
Kids Fest on Saturday and Sunday is packed with activities, performances and exhibits, many education and all fun!
The Alley Run is a one-mile, 5K and 10K course. This event is a long time popular and challenging run for over 500 runners. Visit getmeregistered.com to register to compete in this event.
Food Fest features the best of Longview’s restaurants and commercial food vendors.
