Final Weekend of “Ghosts the Musical” Live at the Texas

Final Weekend of “Ghosts the Musical” Live at the Texas

PALESTINE- Palestine Community Theatre’s (PCT) production of “Ghosts the Musical” is earning rave reviews in East Texas and beyond. If you haven’t seen the show people are calling, “the best show to ever grace the historic stage of the Texas,” you still have one more opportunity this weekend!

“Ghosts the Musical” is about an old theatre that has fallen into disrepair and is in danger of being torn down. The story is very similar to that of the Historic Texas Theatre, which has been on a rise and fall roller coaster since the day it open in 1930. If it had not been for members of PCT who breathed life back into the grand old lady, the Texas may not be standing today.

PCT has been preparing for this production since last fall with a cast packed full of local talent comprised of over 30 community members. The cast gives a top notch performance of the show which is earning them ample praise throughout the region.

Saturday, April 6, there will be a wine and cheese reception before the show beginning at 6:30p.m.

This weekend PCT will have two very special guests in the house.  “Ghosts the Musical” writer/composer William Allen Jones, and his production partner Neil Port will be at the Texas to see PCT’s version of their show during two performances on the last weekend, April 5-6.

This weekend is the last weekend to see “Ghosts the Musical.” Purchase tickets locally at Education Unlimited, Palestine Area Chamber of Commerce, or Dogwood Diner. Or purchase tickets online here: BUY TICKETS NOW!
