Forest Festival Pageant Now Accepting Applications
LUFKIN – There are only 42 days until the 28th Annual Texas State Forest Festival! The Forest Festival and Mr. Timberjack pageant will kick off the week of the Texas State Forest Festival on September 15, at Pineywood Academy Auditorium. Does your son or daughter have what it takes to reign over the Forest Festival?
Presented by Brookshire Brothers, the Miss Forest Festival Pageant & Little Mr. Timberjack Contest is open to a variety of ages. Girls infant through 17 years and boys infant through 6 years may compete. For information call 635-0461 or visit texasstateforestfestival.com.
Winners will receive a crown, trophy and banner. Winners will be presented at the 28th Annual Texas State Forest Festival on Sunday, September 22th at the George Henderson Expo Center. Winners will ride in the Lufkin Christmas parade and talent winners will perform at special events during the year. Special awards will be given in each division for most beautiful, personality, best dress, best camo wear or timberjack attire, interview, talent and photogenic. ALL CONTESTANTS will receive a trophy.
