Jefferson Pickers

JEFFERSON- American Pickers is currently one of the most popular television shows in America. Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz travel around the country looking for “rusty gold” and other Americana treasures. This weekend you can be a picker, as bargain hunters from Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas will be descending on Jefferson, Texas to take part in the semi annual “City Wide Rummage Sale.”

The City Wide Rummage Sale is this Saturday, April 6th from 7:00 AM until 3:00 PM. Maps will be available at 5:00 PM Friday April 5th and they can be picked up from the Blue Box in front of the Marion County Chamber, located at 101 North Polk Street.

Pick up your maps on Friday and plan your strategy over dinner at one of our eclectic restaurants. Another option is to spend the night at one of our historic inns or hotels and plot your strategy over breakfast.
