Mardi Gras! Galveston Celebration

GALVESTON- Over the weekend our team visited Galveston Island to take part in the third largest Mardi Gras celebration in the United States. Mardi Gras was in full swing on the Island this weekend.

The party kicked off Friday night in the Entertain District with parades, music, and beads. Saturday the Mystic Krewe of Aquarius Parade was on the seawall. More than 80 floats and 20 high school marching bands participated in the parade. Paradegoers enjoyed the perfect weather as they collected beads.

If you didn’t make it to the Island this weekend, you still have another chance to catch some beads and let the good times roll.  Next weekend Mardi Gras! Galveston will do it all again!
