St. Patrick’s Happy Hour at the Carnegie Library
JEFFERSON- The Friends of the Jefferson Carnegie Library’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration will be in the library’s beautifully restored ballroom, Saturday, March 16 from 5:30 P.M. to 9:00 P. M. The $25.00 ticket price will include a buffet with Irish cuisine and Dan Smelser at the piano bar performing live music for singing and dancing. Free green beer and a silent auction.
Dan Smelser is one of East Texas’ most talented and versatile pianist. His venue for this event will feature an old fashioned sing-along piano bar and music for dancing. Musical selections will include Irish favorites, show tunes, music from the jazz/big-band era and other selections from the 1950s to the 1970s.
The event includes a full food buffet with emphasis on Irish cuisine. Favorite Emerald Isle recipes of Friends of the Jefferson Carnegie Library will be featured. Food will be served from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M.
Seating is limited, so advance reservations are recommended although not required. Groups can arrange for tables of eight to ten. Call (903) 665-8911 for reservations. Tickets are available at the Carnegie Library, 301 W. Lafayette, Jefferson, Texas.
