Galveston, Texas- Take a musical journey across time and genre this August to beautiful Galveston Island with the Oldest Town In Texas Road Show. For one night only you can enjoy an outstanding night of family fun and music including a variety of showstoppers from past to present, featuring musicians from Nacogdoches at the Grand 1894 Opera House on August 16, at 7p.m.
RockingP and band, Brad Maule, and “Camo Elvis,” along with other special guests as will perform songs from artists you will know and love like Otis Redding, ZZTop, Eric Clapton, Patsy Cline, the Doobie Brothers, George Strait, and Fleetwood Mac.
Master of Ceremonies, Brad Maule, is known by fans for his long-time role as “Dr. Tony Jones” on the popular daytime drama General Hospital. He has appeared on Oprah Winfrey, Threes Company, Live! With Regis and Kathie Lee, Charlie’s Angels, as well as countless other television and movie appearances. But Brad’s skills are not confined only to the acting stage, he is also a talented singer/songwriter and will entertain you with renditions of his favorite West Texas numbers and original songs from his latest album.
RockingP is a musical duo composed of singer/songwriters Stephen and Jan Pate. This couple has performed on a variety of stages all across the state, including the RFDTV series Texas Pickin’ Party. Their original songs are sure to bring a smile to your face as they tell their family’s love story through music. The variety of classics they can cover will amaze you, and even the most particular music lovers will appreciate the skill of “the hottest guitar picker in the lower 48.”
“Camo Elvis,” aka Kim Crisp, is a native Texan, Elvis super fan, and director/producer of the show. His Elvis impersonation and comedy is sure to entertain audience members of all ages.
Special Guest Bo Miller, musician extraordinaire, will tickle the ivory keys on piano, organ and accordion . Bo has graced stages with his Talent in DC, Colorado, New Orleans, Austin and across the U.S.
