10th Annual Moonlight Festival

Mt. Pleasant- The Moonlight Festival in Mount Pleasant is a celebration with real southern flare! The Moonlight Prelude begins Friday, May 18, with the Moonlight Golf Tournament, a street dance, live music and Moonlight White Lightning Sale. On Saturday, get ready to place your bets as local businesses compete in the Texas Championship Outhouse Races!

Friday night opens with a Moonlight Golf Tournament starting at 5:00 pm at the Mt. Pleasant Country Club. Come out and play or just sit back and watch the sky light up as the golfers tee off with their glow balls.

Main festival events Saturday include the Texas Championship Outhouse Races, a classic car show, kiddie car races, the Moonlight 5K Run/Walk/Crawl and Lil’ Buns Fun Run, motorcycle parade and poker run.

Festivities kick off at 4:00 p.m. both days in Downtown Mt. Pleasant in Caldwell Park.
