Congo Truck Club’s 9th Annual Truck and Car Show- If you are looking for something to do in East Texas this weekend, and you enjoy classic cars and hotrods then you are in luck! Don’t miss the Congo Truck Club’s 9th Annual Truck and Car Show on Saturday in Palestine.
Or maybe you have a classic car, streetrod of some sort, or sports car or truck? Enter your vehicle between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. for a chance to win Best of Show, Best Engine, Best Paint, Best Interior or one of the trophies for first, second, or third place which will be handed out by 5p.m. The entry fee is $20 per vehicle.
Trucks from 1900 to 1959, 1960 to 1972, 1973 to 1987, and 1988 to present day will be lined up for the public to judge. Car classes from 1900 to 1967, 1968 to 1979, 1980 to 1991 and 1992 to present day will also be judged by the public. If you have never had the opportunity to marvel at the craftsmanship of the automobile as it has evolved over the years, take the opportunity this weekend in Palestine. The Truck and Car Show is free family fun available to East Texans this weekend.
The Congo Truck Club’s 9th annual Truck and Car Show will be held at 2019 W. Oak Street. The show will begin around 10a.m. and last until 5p.m.
