We are excited to offer you the unique and enlightening opportunity to tour the world-renowned animal sanctuary, Cleveland Amory Black Beauty Ranch (CABBR)!

Located in Murchison, Texas, just 40 minutes west of Tyler, CABBR was founded in 1979 by author and animal advocate Cleveland Amory, who wanted the sanctuary to be a place where animals were free to be animals and safe from abuse, neglect and exploitation. The 1,437 acre sanctuary is not a zoo but is now open to the public for guided, educational tours that respect the peace and privacy of the animals while still giving visitors the opportunity to learn their stories and see the animals living Cleveland’s dream.

We have over 40 species and nearly 1,000 animals that call CABBR home, including tigers, chimps, monkeys, bison, and more. Halfway through the tour, the bus will stop at the Doris Day Equine Center where you will get to meet some adoptable horses and tour the equine adoption facility.

These exclusive monthly tours are pre-scheduled.

1) You may choose to purchase a Sustainer Membership Package where, by donating a minimum of $18 per month, you can attend up to four tours per year. Our sustainers are invaluable to us, both as animal lovers and as the biggest supporters of our mission: to provide sanctuary to exploited animals and to spread awareness so we can bring an end to these abuses. Being able to depend on these monthly donations makes our life-saving work possible!

2) You may also choose to make a one-time donation by selecting a Basic Visitation Package.
