All Aboard The Great Pumpkin Patch Express!

Rusk- The Texas State Railroad will host PEANUTS™ – The Great Pumpkin Patch Express this October. Celebrate Halloween with the classic Charles M. Schulz’s classic story “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” on a train ride departing from the Texas State Railroad Rusk Depot on October 2, 7-9, 14-15, 22 & 29 at 11:00am and on Saturdays there is an additional 1:45pm departure.

Meet Snoopy at the depot then get on board the train for a live reading of the classic story. During the layover enjoy picking a pumpkin from “The Great Pumpkin Patch” and trick-or-treat at “Trick or Treat Street”. Other activities include a hayride, petting zoo, live musical entertainment, bounce house, and more.

Kids don’t forget to wear your costumes!! Get into the spirit this Halloween on a magical train ride in East Texas. Make a memory with your family this October that your children will never forget!

Adults will also get something special to go along with an amazing memory! After your train ride is over visit two of the oldest towns in the Pineywoods and use the goody bag filled with discounts and coupons from local merchants in Rusk and Palestine.
