It’s time to RODEO, and the Crockett Lions Club is going to MAKE IT HAPPEN!
Judge Clyde Black, President of the Crockett Lions Club, has announced that the 2017 Crockett Lions Club PRCA Rodeo will be May 11, 12, and 13 at the Porth Ag Arena. This will be the 56th Annual Rodeo, and will be produced by Andrews Rodeo Company, one of the very best rodeo stock contractors in America. Some of his stock was most recently featured at the Ft. Worth, San Antonio, and Houston Rodeos as well as the National Finals Rodeo. Henson Motor Company of Madisonville will again make the Crockett Lions Club Rodeo an approved Ram Truck Rodeo. This will be Henson’s eighth year to link up with the Crockett Lions Club Rodeo.
Mike Mathis will be the announcer and Rudy Burns will be the Rodeo Clown. Both have been to Crockett for a number of years, and they are always popular with the fans and are recognized in rodeo circles as being among the best in their profession.
Ticket prices will be $15.00 for adults and $7.00 for children 6-12. Tickets will be available presale for $2.00 less. The Lions Club will also be raffling a John Deere Gator. Tickets are available for the Gator from Lions Club Members.
To show their appreciation, The Crockett Lions Club will admit all Veterans, Law Enforcement Officers, Firemen and other Emergency workers FREE on Thursday, May 11th ONLY. In addition, current Military Personnel in uniform will be admitted free each night. Law Officers and Emergency Workers must be in uniform, but Veterans have only to identify themselves at the gate.
