Ghosts Of Millard’s Crossing

Ghosts Of Millard’s Crossing

Nacogdoches- Millard’s Crossing is bringing new meaning to “living history!” On Halloween night in Nacogdoches, the spirits of Millard’s Crossing Historic Village will come alive and hand out candy to all who enter the village gates! Treat your family to a historic Halloween when the ghosts of the people who once lived in the houses tell their stories.

Millard’s Crossing is a charming, reconstructed historic village situated on the north side of Nacogdoches, Texas.  This remarkable museum complex is named for the railroad track that once crossed through the Millard family property and now borders the north side of the village.  Established by the late Lera Millard Thomas, the Village comprises a broad sampling of the nineteenth century East Texas architecture from simple log cabins to Victorian homes.  All of the structures were moved from their original sites, restored and are furnished with Mrs. Thomas’s widely eclectic collection of antiques.

Actors representing the ghosts will appear and relate their stories as well as hand out a treat to all who visit. Children can meet the ghosts, solve a mysterious riddle, and play old-fashioned games such as “Anty-Over” on the grounds.

Step back in time with your family this Halloween in Deep East Texas and visit Millard’s Crossing from 6p.m. until 8p.m. The nineteenth century historic village is located at 6020 North Street in Nacogdoches. Park at the Flea Market next door and walk to the Front Gate. Admission: $3.00 per person.
