HGTV’s Property Brothers Coming to Nacogdoches

Nacogdoches, Texas – Drew and Jonathan Scott of HGTV’s Property Brothers as well as sibling JD Scott of Great American Country TV’s All-American Amusement Parks will be making a special appearance in Nacogdoches this December.

On Saturday, December 6th Drew, Jonathan and JD Scott will give a presentation on their lives titled, “Scott Brothers: Up Close & Personal.” They will discuss how they got started, their “big break” and their empire of businesses. The presentation will be held at Mast Hall from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. After the presentation, fans will have the opportunity to take photos with the television stars and get autographs at the Cole Art Center from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Identical twins Drew and Jonathan help homebuyers locate, purchase and remodel “fixer uppers” on their hit reality show Property Brothers. Both are licensed realtors and Jonathan is also a licensed contractor. Older brother JD gives viewers a peek inside some of America’s best amusement parks on his popular television show All-American Amusement Parks. JD is also a poet and writer.

“The Scott brothers have a very large following and we are beyond thrilled that they are coming to Nacogdoches,” said Nacogdoches Convention and Visitors Bureau Marketing Director Jannette Watts. “This event will allow fans from all over to see the Scott brothers in person and hear their life story.”

The event is free, but tickets are required. There will be a limited number of tickets available at the Visitor Center, 200 E. Main, starting November 10th.

The Scott brothers will also be judging this year’s lighted Christmas parade on December 6th at 6:00 p.m. in downtown Nacogdoches. They will be judging parade entries based on aesthetic quality, originality, creativity, use of animation and/or humor and use of illumination.

“If anyone has an eye for style and creativity, it’s them and that makes them the perfect fit to judge the largest lighted Christmas parade in East Texas,” said Watts.

The Nacogdoches Convention and Visitors Bureau is currently accepting entries for the lighted Christmas parade. If you or someone you know is interested in entering, please visit nineflagsfestival.com.
