Holiday Shopping in Historic Downtown Marshall

marshall-harrison-co-courthouse-1Marshall, Texas- A new event will make its debut this weekend on Saturday, December 10th in conjunction with the Wonderland of Cars car show, the Outdoor Christmas Market. The Outdoor Christmas Market is slated from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will feature vendors from around the Ark-La-Tex region selling homemade Christmas and holiday crafts, decor, clothing, arts, and plenty of other great “stocking stuffers.”

Due to the large quantity of vendor interest and anticipated attendance, the market has been moved to the west side of the courthouse. “We are beyond thrilled to have over 50 different vendors for our very first Outdoor Christmas Market,” said Wonderland of Lights Assistant Coordinator Rachel Skowronek. “What we had originally envisioned as a quaint vendor fair along North Washington has grown into something much larger and much more exciting! By moving the (Outdoor Christmas) Market to the courthouse square, we are gaining space for the numerous guests we are anticipating, as well as upping our electricity capacity for participating vendors.” The west parking lot will be blocked off early Saturday morning, to not interrupt any Friday traffic or Wonderland attendance.

“Whether you’re looking for the perfect hostess gift for your next holiday party, picking up some stocking stuffers, or even looking for a little self-indulgence you’re sure to find something for everyone on your list,” Said Skowronek.

Vendor check in will begin at 8 a.m. at the Convention and Visitors Bureau. If requesting to set up earlier, please contact Rachel Skowronek directly. Vendors are invited to stay set up longer into the night once Wonderland activities begin!
