Nacogdoches, Texas- The “Imagine The Possibilities” tour returns to downtown Nacogdoches on April 25, 2015. Attendees will be able to indulge in a self-guided tour of vacant properties downtown, ideal for businesses, residents or investment opportunities. The tour encourages participants to revitalize and preserve the downtown area by “turning vacant spaces into dynamic places.” Staggered self guided tours will be available that afternoon from 2 to 5 p.m.
Experts from the Small Business Development Center, Nacogdoches County Economic Development Corporation, City Engineering, Fire and Inspections department will all be on hand inside the City Council Chambers, 202 E. Pilar street, where the tour begins.
“We are excited to partner with the Nacogdoches County Board of Realtors on this year’s tour,” said Main Street Director Sarah O’Brien. Downtown property owners may contact the Main Street Office to arrange to have their property showcased on Saturday, April 25th from 2 to 5 p.m. Property Owners must be present the afternoon of the tour.
Downtown Nacogdoches has had a recent surge in residential development as well as the opening of Dolli’s Diner this month. “We are anxious to showcase our vacant properties so that we can continue moving forward in the downtown revitalization process,” said O’Brien.
