The City of Longview will hold the Fireworks and Freedom Celebration at Maude Cobb Convention and Activity Complex on July 4. There will be activities throughout the day, including amusement rides, food and beverages, and a variety of entertainment including ten time Grammy Award Winning band, Asleep at the Wheel, vendors in the Exhibit Building, music acts, a hot dog eating contest, numerous children’s activities and much more, including free outdoor concerts. The festival opens at 11:00 a.m. and the day’s activities will be topped off with a spectacular firework display that will start at 9:30 p.m.
