The Longview Public Library is extremely excited to announce that we will soon have award-winning author Katherine Applegate join us for a FREE meet & greet and book signing! Katherine is a renowned young adult and children’s fiction writer, best known as the author of the Animorphs series, Everworld series, Remnants series, Home of the Brave, The One and Only Ivan, Crenshaw, and many more! She will be joining us Friday, June 17th from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Pine Tree Auditorium, located at 1803 Pine Tree Rd.! We will also have copies of her books available for purchase from a local bookstore. This event was made possible by a generous grant from the Texas State Library and Archives Commission and the Institute of Museum and Library Services. Also, don’t forget to sign up for Summer Reading Club 2016, which begins June 10th!
