We’re ready to go again, so get ready for some good old Texas heat and another great day of adventure on the Neches River. This year the Texas State Aluminum Canoe Championships will be held conjunction with the Neches Wilderness Race. Canoeists and Kayakers, young and old, expert and beginner, are expected out in large numbers for our annual fund raiser for Trinity Valley Community College special needs scholarship fund. Our legendary group of volunteers are getting ready to man their positions on the river bank to see the racers safely through to the finish line and the cold refreshments, watermelon, hamburgers, and hot dogs that await them there.
