Cleveland Amory Black Beauty Ranch will open its doors on Oct. 10 and 17 so visitors can meet and learn about the nearly 1,000 formerly abused, abandoned and neglected animals cared for at this sanctuary. The Texas sanctuary invites attendees to see the resident chimpanzees and other primates, horses and burros, bobcats, iguanas, antelope, ostriches and dozens of other species who have all been rescued from invasive laboratory experiments, factory farming, roadside zoos, the exotic pet trade, horse slaughter and other forms of abuse, while touring the 1,437-acre facility.

Admission to the open house is free, but tax-deductible donations to help provide direct care for the resident animals are appreciated. Everyone is welcome, but pets must stay at home for their own safety as well as that of our sanctuary residents.
