The Lindale Community Theater presents Dearly Beloved
Lindale, Texas- For most folks, a wedding is a joyous event – maybe a little stressful, but happy nonetheless. Frankie Futrelle wishes she was one of those people.
Tina Jo and Parker are due to be married and Frankie is working hard to make it as special a day as she possibly can in an effort to prove to Parker’s mother, Patsy, that the Futrelles are every bit as good as her family – no easy task. She’s put her sister, Twink, in charge of what’s to be a fabulous reception and reserved the fellowship hall of the Tabernacle of the Lamb church in Fayro, TX for the dining extravaganza. The local VFW has been rented for a big dance (forcing the regulars to drink behind the jail) and all appears to be in order for the social event of the year! But wait – is that Tupperware on the table? Could her older sister, the oft married Honey Raye, have actually shown up? And what’s that smell coming from the area behind the church?
The answers to these questions – along with many more! – can be found at the Lindale Community Theater’s second production of their 2014 season, Dearly Beloved. Show dates are April 25,26,27 – May 2,3,4. Friday and Saturday performances 7:30PM, Sunday matinees 2PM. Doors open 45 minutes prior to show time. Adults $15, students $12, 12 and under $8.
