Turkey Creek Trail
Warren, TX.
The Big Thicket National Preserve consists of a series of nine land units and six water corridors that, together, represent over 97,000 acres. Rather than composed of a single type of habitat, the Big Thicket encompasses an extraordinary biological diversity that includes upland hardwood and pine forests, savannahs, flatlands, palmetto hardwoods, floodplain forests, and blackwater swamps. The Turkey Creek Unit is possibly the most biologically diverse parcel in the Big Thicket.
